Based on information from a 2021 news article in the Purcell Register, both vehicles were eventually found at apartment complexes in south Oklahoma City. However, all of his painting supplies, from the ladder to the air compressor and generator, were missing.

$2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this person of interest, who has been performing unauthorized use of Bill's credit cards, and who frequents central Oklahoma. The truck is a red 2002 Chevy S14 Crew Cab, OK License# 328 FAJ. Bill Dwayne Shipley remains missing. Bill resides in Goldsby, OK, and was last seen on July 19, 2011.
